I was a novice gun owner and Tim was a big help to me. His approach to complete safety made me feel comfortable during the entire training session. He not only taught me the fundamentals, but he explained the reasoning as well. I highly recommend getting the proper training for safe and effective use of any and all firearms, and Tim is as good as they come.

  2. Sonya R. (verified owner)

Tim is an amazing instructor. He is so patient and passionate about teaching you the best way to carry, engage, and walk away from many types of danger. He is thorough AND you will NOT find anyone better at teaching gun safety and tactics to protect you and yours.

  3. Lynne G. (verified owner)

I had never shot a handgun before. Tim was patient and made me feel comfortable around guns. With some range time, I will be ready to take the License to Carry class.

  4. Brenda B. (verified owner)

Wanting to feel more capable with a handgun, Tim gave me several pointers. By the end of the session, he had me shooting one handed – something I did not think I could do without missing the target. I am very happy with the results!

  5. Peggy Y. (verified owner)

I wanted to improve my accuracy. Tim helped me with grip and trigger control. By the end of the lesson, my best five shot group was my best group ever!

  6. Laura P. (verified owner)

I am an experienced shooter, but a novice when it comes to concealed carry. Tim taught me about holsters and belts and how to carry safely responsibly.

  7. Nikki K. (verified owner)

I wanted to learn how to shoot a handgun so I can carry someday. I enjoyed the lesson and will be putting in some serious range time!

  8. Lori M. (verified owner)

Tim helped me select my first handgun. He showed me how defensive handguns work and the different features offered on a variety of models. Thanks to his expert instruction, I purchased the right gun for me.

  9. Margi D. (verified owner)

Tim held a ladies only private lesson for me and some friends. We learned safe handgun operation and had fun shooting!

  10. Lisa E. (verified owner)

In a role play exercise, I learned why purse carry is a recipe for disaster. Tim convinced me that on-body carry was the right choice for me!

  11. Michelle P. (verified owner)

My first private lesson with Tim was how to shoot an AR-15. I came back for another lesson to learn how to shoot a handgun. He helped me select a model that works for me. I am now an official gun girl!

  12. Michael L. (verified owner)

I learned how to shoot effectively with a gun in one hand and a flashlight in the other. Tim helped me make the choice between a handheld light and weapon mounted light. Shooting in the dark was fun, too!

  13. Deanna P. (verified owner)

My boyfriend was getting frustrated trying to teach me to shoot a handgun, and I was getting mad. We took a private lesson with Tim, and it turned out to be couples therapy. Once I had the right gun for me in my hands and a proper grip, I was able shoot as well as my boyfriend!

  14. Paul W. (verified owner)

Tim taught my girlfriend how to shoot a pistol … and saved our relationship!

  15. Hannah H. (verified owner)

I am a domestic violence survivor. Tim was able to teach me life saving techniques to defend myself, and gave me a defense plan that I was able to practice on my own that I have the confidence will work.

  16. Debra G. (verified owner)

My husband recently passed away and left me several handguns. He never taught me how to shoot them, but I need to defend myself now that he is gone. Tim taught me how to safely and responsibly handle a handgun.

  17. Richard S. (verified owner)

I had shot rifles my whole life – mostly for hunting. The AR-15 was new to me, so I took a private lesson with Tim. He taught me how the controls work, how to accessorize the rifle, and most importantly, how to shoot it effectively. Now, my AR-15 is my favorite firearm!

  18. Gary L. (verified owner)

I was not happy with my marksmanship – having Parkinson’s Disease did not help. Tim suggested I try a handgun with a grip module that I could control easier. What a difference it made in my accuracy! I enjoy shooting again!!

  19. Michelle P. (verified owner)

I was scared to death to shoot an AR-15! This was a bucket list item for me, and Tim helped me stay calm. I could not believe I hit the bullseye on the first shot! I ended up shooting several magazines … then I bought myself an AR-15!!

  20. Ellen D. (verified owner)

My husband and I are retired and wanted to buy a handgun to take with us for self-defense on a road trip. Tim showed us how to shoot the pistol and how to safely store it during our trip. He also directed us to information on how to travel with the gun lawfully from state to state.

  21. Ann V. (verified owner)

I hired Tim as instructor for a corporate team building event with my team from Taiwan who all wanted to shoot the AR-15 they hear about. He gave us all a safety brief, demonstrated the controls and safe operation of the rifle. Everyone had a blast! The best part was seeing my colleagues smile wide for selfies!

  22. Randy W. (verified owner)

Tim was great! He taught practical techniques at the right pace for me. I learned more from him in two hours than in four years trying to figure stuff out on my own.

  23. Alexei K. (verified owner)

I had never heard live gunfire before much less held a handgun. By the end of the 2 hour lesson with Tim, I was able to hit the bullseye!
